We all truly admire Nicky for her
hard work and dedication to the art of Steppin'. From the beginning
when she first came on the Steppin' scene she showed a true dedication
and determination to learn and improve her style.
Nicky did it the right way. She did not get involved in doing Steppin'
classes until she felt she had the confidence and experience enough to
instruct others via workshops with (WOME) and later competing in
Stepper's Contest in Chicago oh! and a little advise from yours truly.
And to prove she real had what it took to be a real stepper she won $
1,000 first place prize Beginners Category in of all places Chicago,
the home of Steppin'. Contest promoters: Chicago's Inside Steppin'

This author recently stopped by her
classes on Monday and Wednesday just to see how she was doing with her
students. I was impressed with her form and class structure. Her
students honestly new what they were doing. They had the right style
and form instilled in them to becoming excellent steppers. But most
importantly her classes consist of new steppers. This is what truly
helps our St. Louis Stepper's Community grow.
Most of her students were older, more into learning Old Skool Steppin' without all the spins and turns.
When speaking with her students the enthusiasm Nicky projects to her students was evident.
Nicky now has a regular steppin' partner: Chicago Stepper Glenn
Ellington. This author really look forward to Glenn coming into town.
He is one of the best steppers I have stepped with and they really look
together on the floor. Having a regular steppin' partner is part of
the game. That's when you can
really profile your style. You know each others moves.
Hat's off from this editor to Nicola! Keep on Steppin'
